This is the most reliable stretch. The monsoon has cleared, humidity is manageable, and daytime temperatures sit in the low to mid 20s Celsius. Houseboat trips, kayaking, and outdoor team sessions are all practical. The catch is cost. This is peak season, so houseboat rates and resort tariffs are at their highest. Book at least 6 to 8 weeks in advance, especially if your group is 20 people or more. Long weekends in November and December fill up fast.

Temperatures climb into the mid 30s and humidity builds toward May. Outdoor activities need to be scheduled in the early morning or after 4 PM. Indoor venues with good air conditioning handle this fine, and several resorts on the backwaters are well set up for it. Rates drop noticeably compared to peak season, sometimes by 20 to 30 percent, and availability is much easier. If your team can handle warm afternoons and you plan the schedule sensibly, this window offers good value.

The southwest monsoon hits Alleppey directly and it is heavy. By the last two weeks, conditions begin to improve and you get something close to the October experience at slightly lower rates.
