How to plan a corporate offsite in Wayanad

Wayanad has a mix of large resorts that can handle 30 to 150 people in one booking and smaller plantation stays that suit groups of 15 to 40. If your offsite has a structured conference agenda, confirm that the property has a dedicated conference room with a projector, stable power backup, and catering for three meals. Many plantation-style properties are beautiful but are not set up for full-day meetings. Ask specifically about Wi-Fi quality as it varies widely and matters if your team needs to stay partly connected. For a two-night trip, areas around Vythiri and Lakkidi work well. They are roughly 30 to 40 minutes from Kalpetta town for any last-minute requirements. Expect to pay somewhere between 3,500 to 8,500 INR per person per night on full board for a decent property, depending on the season and group size.

A two-night, three-day format works well for most teams. Day one is largely travel, check-in and a light evening session, perhaps a team dinner with an icebreaker activity. Day two is your main workday. A morning strategy or review session from 9 AM to 1 PM, followed by an outdoor activity in the afternoon, a bamboo rafting session at Pookode or a guided trek through a coffee estate, and then an informal evening around a bonfire or cultural programme.
