Most groups leave Bangalore early Friday morning by tempo traveller or a small bus fleet. You reach Kodaikanal by late afternoon, which gives people time to settle in, have a warm dinner together, and do a short informal icebreaker. We usually keep Day 1 light on programming. A bonfire or a guided star-gazing session works well here because Kodai's elevation and clear nights make it genuinely good, not just a check-box activity. If your team is flying, Madurai airport is the nearest option. Coordinate the Madurai to Kodaikanal leg carefully because the ghat road takes longer than maps suggest, especially after rain.

This is the main working day. A typical schedule runs an outdoor activity block in the morning, a structured team session or workshop after lunch indoors, and free time or a group walk in the evening. For outdoor blocks, Kodaikanal offers trekking to Dolphin's Nose or Pillar Rocks, cycling around the lake, and nature walks through pine and shola forest patches.
