Most annual day venues are hotel ballrooms that look identical year to year. Hampi gives you a backdrop that nobody forgets, the boulder landscape, the Tungabhadra, the ruins. That setting does half the work of making the event feel significant without you spending extra on decor. It suits groups of 30 to 150 comfortably. Larger groups can be managed but logistics get complicated, so plan early if you are above 100 people.

The main options are the larger resorts on the Hospet side and the boutique properties on the Hampi island side near Virupapur Gadde. Island-side properties are more atmospheric but access involves a coracle or a bridge depending on season, which you should factor into your logistics. Open-air setups work well here from October to February. Avoid May and June, it is genuinely very hot.

Coracle rides on the Tungabhadra, guided heritage walks through the Virupaksha temple complex, and cycling tours across the boulder terrain are all practical and do not need much pre-arrangement.
