Many small properties do not, and you do not want to run your strategy session in a restaurant corner.

This is where Hampi gets a little difficult. Properties with 20 or more rooms that also have a proper conference room are limited. You are looking at a handful of resort-style options, mostly on the outskirts near Kamalapuram or along the Hospet road. Expect to pay Rs 4,500 to Rs 8,000 per person per night depending on the property and meal plan. Ask specifically about the AV setup, generator backup, and whether Wi-Fi reaches the meeting room. Do not assume. A site visit or a detailed vendor checklist before you confirm the booking will save you a lot of trouble on the day.

Hampi itself does not have a resort that comfortably handles 50-plus people with conference facilities, accommodation, and good food all in one place. For large groups, Hospet, which is about 13 km from the ruins, is more practical. There are business hotels there with banquet halls, larger room inventory, and more reliable infrastructure. You can still run your cultural and outdoor activities in Hampi itself, bussing the team in for half-day excursions. It is a slightly less atmospheric arrangement, but it is operationally far more predictable for large groups.

Water availability and power backup are the two things that catch people out in Hampi. It is a heritage zone with some infrastructure constraints. Ask the property directly about bore well water, generator capacity, and whether they have handled corporate groups before. Also confirm the activity options they can actually arrange, not just list on their website. Coracle rides, boulder trails, guided ruins tours, and evening cultural programs are all genuinely available in the area. Just verify lead times and group size limits for each, especially if your team is above 20 people.
