For larger groups, 40 to 100, you will need to look at the few larger properties on the Hospet side, which have proper conference rooms with AV setup and can handle catering at scale. Check the room count before anything else. Hampi has limited inventory and properties fill up fast on weekends. If your dates are fixed, confirm accommodation first, then plan the agenda around the venue layout.

Format that actually works in Hampi

A two-night, three-day format is the most practical. Day one is travel and a light evening session, a team dinner and informal target reviews. Day two is your main kickoff, full-day structured sessions, presentations, territory planning, recognition. Day three is a half-day wrap, open Q and A, and travel back. Keep mornings for the hard content. Hampi afternoons get warm and energy drops. Schedule the cultural site visit or the coracle ride for late afternoon. AV, connectivity and what to arrange in advance

Most Hampi properties have projectors and basic PA systems but the quality varies. How do teams usually travel from Bangalore to Hampi?

The overnight train from Yesvantpur to Hospet is the most comfortable option and takes roughly nine hours. From Hospet, it is another 30 to 45 minutes by vehicle to most properties. Alternatively, a hired bus from Bangalore is door-to-door and suits teams that want to travel together, though journey time is six to seven hours depending on traffic out of the city.

Is Hampi suitable for a mixed group including senior leadership?

Yes, as long as the property is chosen carefully. Some island-side guesthouses are very basic and will not suit senior leaders expecting reasonable room comfort. There are a handful of well-maintained properties with air-conditioned rooms, hot water and reliable housekeeping. These book up early, so plan at least six to eight weeks ahead.
